NSC Racers
We have an active race group which competes at all levels of competition - see the racing blog for results and news. Our racers take part in club events, regional races and national competitions including the English and British Championships and the club has produced several English and British champions.
Competitions at the national level use a seedpoint system and provide a route into national teams and snow races.
As a Club we also have our own Club Championships (and Fireworks) around the 5th of November each year, and a Night Slalom during February or March.
WANNABEE RACERS!
If you want to get started in racing, there is a Wannabee racer session on Friday nights 5:30 to 7:00 for aspirational racers of ALL ages.
RACE TRAINING
Race training takes place once or twice a week ( 7.00-9.00pm, Friday evenings during the summer and 8.30-11.30am Sunday mornings during winter). Additionally the club organises and plays host to a number of race training camps held during school holidays. The ages of the racers range from 8 to 50+. There are some 45-50 racers who regularly attend race training.
All ages and group standards are catered for by our excellent group of coaches, trainers and instructors led by our Race Coach Andy Hood. If you are interested in joining the race group contact Andy
