Following our spring clock changes race training changes on the 11th April - Race training for ERSA racers moves from Sunday to Friday Night 7-9pm. National Racers 7.30-8.30pm Wednesday Night.

In 2006 Norfolk Ski Clubs Racers started the dry slope racing Season early, with a night Slalom. This is now an annual event usually held around the beginning of March.

For 2008 the race was yet again a Slalom with 3 runs, fastest run to count. Medals were awarded in the same categories as the Club Championships held in November each year, Mini’s, Children, Juniors, Seniors and Masters for both male and female as well as racer and non-racer.

WANNABEE RACERS!

If you want to get started in racing, there is a Wannabee racer session on Friday nights 5:30 to 7:00 for aspirational racers of ALL ages. These are the results from Slalom Racers aspiring for Silver times.

The Norfolk Ski club championships are held each year around the 5th of November (with an excellent Fireworks display)

All NSC club members can take part, especially non-racers feeling competitive!

In 2007 113 competitors took part and raced on the Slalom Course (3 runs on same course, best 2 to count) and GS course.

Competitors are also encouraged to participate in the dual slalom team event race, head to head, where team members are picked out of a hat. Always the hightlight of the evening and a great finale prior to the fireworks and heading to the bar for medals!
